The services extend across the entire project development life cycle spanning from business cases and feasibility studies, through to procurement strategy, scope development and planning phases, construction execution and commissioning.
NPM was established in 2016 and provides whole life cycle project and design management services of construction projects for our clients. NPM’s client base comes predominately from repeat business and referrals.
NPM is owned and operated solely by Matt Nielsen, an experienced Project Manager with over 30 year’s experience within the construction industry. As a highly motivated person, Matt strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for his clients. His vast experience and expertise allow for complex deliverables and targets to be met on all projects.
Matt’s strength lies in his ability to develop a project team to work more efficiently in achieving cost efficient design, construction and operational requirements of the project. This ensures that time, cost, quality and the ongoing operational management of each project come together seamlessly. Referral and repeat business are the backbone of NPM’s client base. Matt prides himself on his strong working and personal relationships throughout, not only South East Queensland, but also within the Australian Construction industry. Maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders is crucial to NPM’s continued success.
MATT NIELSEN
Matt Nielsen is a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. Matt’s experience is broad ranging and encompasses a breadth of project works of more than $500 million in value throughout his career.
Following graduating from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) in 1997, Matt specialised in civil marine projects with McConnell Dowell Constructors (Sydney and Adelaide) before returning to Sydney to manage luxury residential projects for Paragon Projects.
In 2002 Matt commenced a 15 year career with Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba as Senior Design/Project Manager. During this period Matt specialised in the delivery of large Design and Construct projects throughout Eastern Australia.
